The journey then continues towards some of Meghalaya's most iconic destinations. Experience the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River at Dawki, visit the India–Bangladesh border at Tamabil, and explore Mawlynnong and its famous Balancing Rock before travelling onwards to Cherrapunji.

Day 1 – Guwahati – Jowai

Arrive at Guwahati Airport and begin your scenic journey to Jowai, a peaceful hill town surrounded by lush green landscapes. En route, enjoy views of the beautiful paddy fields and countryside. Make a photo stop at Thadlaskein Lake, a serene natural attraction surrounded by greenery, before continuing your journey to Jowai. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in and around Jowai. Visit Krang Suri Falls, renowned for its crystal-clear blue waters, cascading waterfalls, and picturesque natural surroundings. Later, explore the Nartiang Monoliths, an ancient historical site featuring a remarkable collection of massive monolithic stones that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Jaintia Hills. Return to Jowai and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed towards Cherrapunji with sightseeing en route. Visit Dawki, famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Enjoy a scenic boat ride on the river, subject to weather and local conditions. Later, visit the India–Bangladesh Border at Tamabil, where you can witness the landscapes of both neighbouring countries. Continue to Mawlynnong, renowned for its cleanliness and beautiful surroundings. Explore the village and visit the Balancing Rock, a fascinating natural formation. Later, continue your journey to Cherrapunji and check in to the hotel.

After breakfast, embark on an adventurous trek to Nongriat Village to witness the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Created by naturally intertwined tree roots, this unique bridge is one of Meghalaya’s most remarkable attractions. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the dense tropical forest and surrounding waterfalls during the trek. After exploring the area, trek back to Cherrapunji.

Note: The trek involves approximately 3,500 steps and requires a good level of physical fitness.

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Cherrapunji. Visit the Nohkalikai Falls Viewpoint, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India, offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Later, explore the fascinating Mawsmai Caves, known for their impressive limestone formations and natural rock structures. Continue to Seven Sisters Falls, a magnificent waterfall cascading down the cliffs. Later, visit the Ramakrishna Mission before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Shillong, the picturesque capital of Meghalaya. Upon arrival, begin your sightseeing with a visit to Ward’s Lake, a beautiful artificial lake surrounded by landscaped gardens. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk through Lady Hydari Park. Continue to the Don Bosco Museum, which showcases the rich culture, traditions, and heritage of Northeast India. Later, visit Elephant Falls, a scenic multi-tiered waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. In the evening, explore Police Bazar, Shillong’s vibrant commercial and shopping hub. Check in to your hotel and relax.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Guwahati. En route, visit Umiam Lake, a beautiful and tranquil reservoir surrounded by rolling hills, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Continue your journey to Guwahati and check in to the hotel.

Later, visit the Umananda Temple, located on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River. In the evening, enjoy a scenic sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River with dinner, offering beautiful views of the river and surrounding landscape.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Guwahati Airport for your onward flight.

Notes on Transportation Used in Our Package.

Vehicles used are exclusively at the disposal of the guest for the entire tour for 12 Hours every day .There is
no change in the vehicle during the entire tour .Our drivers are very well trained with the entire region and
would ensure that they take the guest to all the places mentioned in the itinerary. Maximum guests allowed
in Innova is 6 including children above 4 years. If the no. of guest is more than 6 then they will have to take
1 more vehicle at an extra cost. If there are 5 or more guests then they are advised to travel with very
minimum baggage in case if the number of baggage is more than normal then the guest will have to take 1
more vehicle at an extra cost. In case the Guest is travelling with extra Bags they may have to take a extra
car for the same at additional cost payable on spot.

Notes on Tempo Travellers

Tempo Travellers which are available in North East are not modified and are basic A/C vehicles that come
directly from the dealer. It is noted that these vehicles may not be as well-equipped with Maharaja Seats,
Individual AC, Arm Rest Etc as those found in other states like Rajasthan, Delhi, Kerala, etc. The A/c of the
vehicle will not work on hills further the Ac are not as effective as a Sedan or Toyota Vehicle. Additionally,
the average age of the vehicles is between 3 to 5 years, and they do not have roof carriers.In terms of
luggage, due to space constraints, only one piece of luggage per person is allowed. If a guest is traveling with
additional luggage, they may need to arrange for an extra vehicle on the spot at an additional cost. It’s
important to highlight that once the tour begins, the vehicle will not be replaced for any reason.

time in case of any emergency, changes in itinerary or any inconvenience which may have happened on
account of hotels or transportation in case the guest requires a tour guide please let us know in advance.
The same can be arranged at an extra cost Package can be extended on Pro-Rata basis All our packages are
inclusive of Breakfast There will be no refund for any unutilized services.

Hotels are not available as per your confirmation we will suggest you alternate options and confirm the
